Slow & Simple Homemaking

I hope you find this space inspiring as we learn the rhythms and tasks of homemaking together. It’s not all about the daily tasks we, homemakers, provide for our family. It’s about our heart posture too! And it’s my hope to inspire your soul along this journey of homemaking, as well. Let’s slow down and start pursuing the sweet simple life.

Behind the homemaking
Hi, I’m Megan
Slow, simple homemaking has been on my heart since (shameless plugin) noticing how Ma Ingalls joyfully and tenderly cared for her family and cabin on the prairie. Likewise, I always imagined how my ancestors lived here on our homestead, caring for the homeplace and farmland. I would hear all the stories of the “good old days” while gathered around the farmhouse table. These days were before electricity reached the homestead. When life was slow and simple and everything was homegrown and made from-scratch.
I firmly believe we have a lot we can learn from the traditional, old-fashioned way of living. It’s my passion to share inspiration for your home and heart.
